“Hello friends!
I’m Amy and you might know me from Teton Athletic Club. I had the absolute joy and honor to be a part of the team there for 4 years doing evening yoga. I’ve been out of the group yoga realm for a couple of years but I’m excited to make a pop up appearance at Inner Bliss.
Currently, you can find me at Blissful Bamboo EnergyWorks providing massage, private yoga sessions and energy work as alternative therapies. I hold certifications in hatha, kundalini, trauma informed and somatic yoga and I enjoy sharing my favorite techniques from each of them in unique ways to help others navigate their own healing journeys. “

"My name is Janiesey Lawson, I'm an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho tribe, direct descendant to the Ogalala Lakota and Quinault Nations. I was born and raised here in Fremont County where I have been active all my life in outdoor activities and sports.
I struggle with anxiety, depression and addiction. In order to cope with those, I have found that physical activity is my favorite way to release energy. I weight train and recently started powerlifting. That physical exercise helped me cope for a while. Until I reached a point in letting go of alcohol where I was so lost in my own mind. I needed to connect with something else to stop the suffering in my head and heart. So, I decided to try out yoga.
I had practiced yoga throughout the years, going to a few classes and some practice at home thanks to my auntie and grandma. This last year I recently started practicing yoga more consistently at home. Then went to Buti Yoga with Monica at Teton and loved the challenge of moving my body in a new expression. I went to a yoga festival with my friend Kayla, where we had a beautiful experience connecting with many different teachers. I then continued to practice at home. A few months later I decided to take the leap and start a teacher training with My Vinyasa Yoga. Completing and getting 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher registered.
I have recently celebrated a year clean from alcohol and I give a lot of thanks to my yoga practice. With my practice I’ve learned that I didn’t need to run to anyone else or to anything else. What I needed was to come back to myself. To connect my breath with the movement of my body has brought intention into my life. It has brought connection within myself that I didn’t know was available. So, I want to create space for you in my classes to connect with your breath, body and spirit. I look forward to seeing you on the mat.”![]()

Born and raised in this beautiful place, Cat’s yoga journey began when she attended a Sunday Beginner Class with Janis—and she was hooked. Though she had tried yoga before, something about that class and the supportive studio environment clicked. Yoga became more than just a practice; it became a lifeline, helping her navigate the challenges of mental health and bringing peace and stability to her life.
Cat dreams of opening an animal rescue that supports people struggling with mental health, combining her passions for helping animals and humans alike. At home, she cares for her two senior dogs, Daisy and Larry, and two senior cats, Morty and Pearl, and also fosters animals through Paws.
In her spare time, Cat enjoys tending to her plants, spending time outdoors, and exploring rocky beaches. She is an avid writer and finds solace in journaling. As a full-time caregiver for her husband with dementia—a role she describes as the hardest and most constant job she’s ever had—Cat cherishes the peace, strength, and grounding that yoga brings to her life.
Her journey is a testament to resilience, compassion, and the transformative power of yoga.

Darcey Wells spent most of her life in New England before relocating to Wyoming 12 years ago. She first discovered yoga after a battle with anxiety and postpartum depression—an experience that opened her eyes to the profound healing potential of movement.
Darcey earned her yoga teacher certification under June Locklin at the Nataraja School of Yoga in Kennebunk, Maine. She went on to complete additional training through ChildLight Yoga, after which she founded Growing Yogis, a yoga studio and children’s enrichment center focused on mindful movement and wellness.
Following her move to Wyoming, Darcey paused her yoga practice to focus on raising her children and pursuing a career in public education. Several years later, she returned to yoga after attending a class at Teton, gradually reconnecting with the practice that had once played such a central role in her life.
When she’s not on the mat or at the gym, Darcey can often be found exploring lakes and mountains. She holds a deep belief in the restorative power of water and nature, finding both to be essential components of a balanced and fulfilling life.
Darcey is committed to the power of positivity and being an active participant in life. She believes that while everyone faces challenges, we always have a choice in how we respond. We can let the hard days win, or we can face them head-on and change our narratives. Her philosophy is rooted in the idea that we owe it to ourselves—and to those we love—to strive to be the best versions of ourselves whenever possible. Yoga is more than a physical practice; it’s a tool that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. It is never too late to say “yes” to life and to reclaim authorship of the stories we live.

Kayla was born and raised in the heart of Wyoming, raising up 3 beautiful kids and a full-time photographer in Fremont County and surrounding areas. She recently found a love for the practice of yoga and got her 200-hour teaching certificate & now offers classes at Teton as well as at our new studio.
Kayla fitness journey started with some simple yoga videos at home a few classes through the week with some truly inspirational women & that slowly spiraled into a true passion for what this practice can bring to every single soul that’s willing to try it and set ego aside. She has learned how important it is to remember to slow down, to remember to take up space and time for us. But most importantly of all find that deep self-love we all yearn for.
In her class you will open your energy pathways and enter you into a state of bliss as we work gently through our bodies opening up, releasing stored energy, & tension and trauma from the muscles.
"Yoga is for everybody.
NO, you’re not too old.
NO, you do not have to be flexible.
NO, you CAN do this.
If you’re willing and open, your body will thank you.

"In the midst of life's challenges, yoga became my sanctuary, guiding me through tough times and offering solace. The profound connection I found with yoga ignited a passion within me, leading to the creation of our studio. I envisioned a warm and welcoming space, especially vital during the long, harsh winters of our community. Our studio is not just a place for physical practice; it's a haven for personal transformation, healing, and a source of support for all seeking balance and serenity."

Shannon is a lifelong rancher turned health and fitness coach. Yoga is what started the whole journey for her back in 2017. She initially joined for the physical benefits but soon discovered the profound mental peace that came along with the practice.
She became certified as a 200-hour yoga instructor and opened her own studio in Riverton in 2019. Unfortunately, after just eight months, the Covid shutdown forced her to close its doors.
Since then, she has expanded her expertise, becoming a nutrition coach, personal trainer, and glute specialist. Now, she’s excited to be back, sharing the fun and joy that her classes bring to everyone.
